Telephone Counseling with Marco M.Sc.
Being Happier: that's what we all want, each in our very own and specific way, and that's my favorite subject too! I can't imagine a better job than helping you living a happier life, and, with me, that's what counseling it's all about!
But why talking to a counselor in the first place? Family and friends might be involved in your problem or could get upset by the distress you are in. They are not experts in personal growth, and sometimes they have got their own ideas on who you should be and how you should live your life.
On the other hand, counseling facilitates you in making the right choice for yourself. A good counselor is a force outside your day-to-day world, actively helping you changing, whilst keeping you firmly in the driving seat: you decide were to go, and the counselor helps you getting there. What you say and feel during the journey stay between you and your counselor.
My clients are accomplished individuals who want to improve one or two areas of their life. I can help you with...
• Personal growth: how can I live a happier life?
• Managing stress and anxiety
• Bereavement
• Overcoming depression
• Experiencing a lack of meaning or joy in life
• Relationship problems
I am not qualified to help you with psychotic disorders and hard drug addictions.
I have 7 years of Psychosynthesis and Transactional Analysis under my belt, I sure love going deep: counseling is my passion and I am committed to lifelong learning. I have studied and practised part time, so I had the chance to live other experiences too. I am a member of the Institute of Transactional Analysis and I abide to their code of ethics.
Why Telephone Counseling? Sometimes the privacy and safety of your own home allows you to open up more than you would in a distant counseling room. And then there’s no commuting, no parking, no hassles: telephone counseling is easier to fit in with a busy work or domestic schedules. Finally, telephone counseling does work: studies show that it can be very effective.
So what’s the next step? First, we have a free 30 minute session to understand if we want to work together: drop me an email so we can arrange it. After that, we have one 50 minutes session a week, and you still don't pay. How's that?
Better, or free. I am confident that if I accept to work with you we will make a positive difference to your life: things will get better. So I ask you to pay me later, after a few sessions, only if you decide that our meetings have been useful. And if you can’t afford counseling at all, I might still be able to help: I reserve one every three counseling hours to clients who are out of work or in financial distress.
Your happiness is urgent. I know that it takes a lot of courage to make the first step, I have been there too, and if you are still reading this page, you already know that together we could change your life for the better: so drop me a quick email to let me know you are interested, and we'll take it from there.
Be happy. Marco
